This notice has been prepared to inform you about the purposes for which the personal data you share during your career application is processed, the methods by which it is collected, the parties to whom it may be transferred, the legal grounds for processing and your rights under the Personal Data Protection Law.
1. Personal Data Processed
The following personal data may be processed through the career application form and your CV:
- Your name and surname
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The field / position you want to apply for
- Your experience level
- The education, professional experience, competencies, certificates, references and similar information contained in your CV
- Information you share in the description / cover letter field of the application form
- Records of the communication you have with us during the application process
Candidates are not expected to share special categories of personal data during the application process. We kindly ask you not to include health information, disability status, association, foundation or trade union membership, political opinions, religion, sect, biometric data or similar special categories of personal data in your CV or in the description field.
2. Purposes of Processing Personal Data
Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:
- Receiving and assessing your career application
- Reviewing your suitability as a candidate for the position you applied for or for other positions that may be suitable
- Carrying out human resources and recruitment processes
- Contacting you during the application process
- Planning interview, assessment and reference processes
- Carrying out our human resources planning
- Initiating onboarding procedures if the recruitment process concludes positively
- Fulfilling obligations arising from legislation
- Protecting and exercising our rights in potential disputes
3. Method of Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data may be collected through;
- The career application form on our website,
- The CV file uploaded by you,
- Email, telephone or other communication channels,
- Interview and assessment processes
in electronic or physical form.
4. Legal Grounds for Processing Personal Data
Your personal data is processed on the basis of the following legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the Personal Data Protection Law:
- Processing of personal data being necessary, provided that it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract
- Processing being mandatory for the data controller to fulfil its legal obligations
- Processing being mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right
- Processing being mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject
- The explicit consent of the data subject being obtained where necessary
5. Transfer of Personal Data
Your personal data may be shared with the relevant units and authorised persons within the company in order to carry out the application and assessment process.
In addition, your personal data may be shared;
- With legally authorised public institutions and organisations,
- With the competent authorities for the fulfilment of legal obligations,
- With the service providers from which we receive information technology, server, software, email, hosting and technical support services,
- Where necessary, with the business partners from which we receive legal, financial advisory and consultancy services
in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law and only to the extent necessary. Your personal data is not shared with third parties for purposes other than your application unless you have given your explicit consent or the legal grounds set out in the Personal Data Protection Law apply.
6. Retention Period for Personal Data
The personal data you share in connection with your career application is retained for as long as required by the application assessment process.
If your application is unsuccessful or the application process is completed, your personal data may be retained for a reasonable period so that you can be considered for suitable positions that may arise in the future. At the end of this period, your personal data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Where your explicit consent is required for you to be kept in the candidate pool for a longer period, a separate explicit consent text may be presented to you.
7. Your Rights Under the Personal Data Protection Law
Under Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law, in relation to your personal data;
- To learn whether your personal data is processed,
- To request information about it if it has been processed,
- To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom the data is transferred at home or abroad,
- To request its correction if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
- To request its erasure or destruction within the conditions prescribed by law,
- To request that correction, erasure or destruction operations be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
- To object to an outcome to your detriment arising from analysis carried out exclusively by automated systems,
- To claim compensation for any damage you suffer as a result of unlawful processing
