Students Experienced the Digital Production Ecosystem First Hand with the Print Flow – Print House Management System Training
The printing industry is being reshaped not only by production technologies but also by a data-driven management approach, process optimisation and digital transformation capabilities. At Yuchisoft we see it as a strategic responsibility to help the young professionals who will shape the future of the industry grow up ready for this transformation.
With this in mind, the Print Flow – Print House Management System that we developed within TÜBİTAK Marmara Teknokent was presented in a hands-on training programme organised for students of the Ege University Printing and Publishing Technologies Department.
The Print House Vision of the Future Met the Students
Throughout the training programme, students had the chance to examine closely how digitalisation, automation and data-based process management create value in print house operations in line with industry needs.
The programme focused in particular on;
- digital process management,
- production planning,
- operational efficiency,
- data literacy,
- analysis and decision-making mechanisms,
- traceability and sustainable production, all of which were assessed in depth.
Students also experienced, through practical examples, why process management has become so critical in modern print house operations and how a digital working culture affects production performance.
The Future of Printing: Technology, Data and Process Management
During the training, students had the opportunity to see that printing is not a field focused solely on machinery or production, and that the human factor, sound decision-making mechanisms and digital process management matter at least as much as the technical infrastructure.
In today's printing industry, competition is shaped not only by print quality but by how controlled, measurable and sustainable the management of processes is.
In this context, the approach of the Print Flow Print House Management System — focused on production efficiency, quality control, cost optimisation and operational traceability — was explained to the students in detail.
