BASEV Board of Directors Visits Yuchisoft at TÜBİTAK MARTEK
At Yuchisoft, we continue to develop projects that contribute to the digital transformation of the printing industry and to build strong collaborations that will shape the future of the sector.
In this context, we were delighted to host the management of BASEV (Printing Industry Education Foundation), of which we are a board of trustees member, at our centre in the TÜBİTAK / MARTEK Technology Development Zone.
During the visit, comprehensive assessments were made on the future of the printing industry, digital transformation processes, sectoral development and qualified human resources together with Murat Demir, Chairman of the BASEV Board of Directors, Emre Duran, Vice Chairman of the Board, Yahya Tuncer, BASEV Coordinator, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Oktav and our academic adviser Doç. Dr. Zafer Özomay.
A Strong Collaboration for the Future of the Printing Industry
During the meeting, the current status and future road map of the "Digital Career Bridge" project we are developing for BASEV at Yuchisoft were discussed in detail.
As part of the project;
- bringing students together with industry companies,
- managing internship and career processes in a digital environment,
- strengthening the human resources available to the printing industry,
- and increasing industry–student interaction were among the critical topics assessed.
A wide-ranging exchange of ideas took place in particular on the strategic work that could be carried out to make printing technologies and print house departments a more popular choice among young people.
Digital Transformation and the Future of Printing Technologies
During the visit, industry analyses were also shared on the effects of digital transformation in the printing industry, artificial intelligence supported production processes, automation systems, data management and next generation print house technologies.
Today the printing industry is being reshaped not only by production processes, but by a data-driven management mindset, automation infrastructures and digitalised business models. In this process of transformation, collaborations between universities, foundations, educational institutions and technology companies are critically important.
Training the Printing Professionals of the Future Together
One of the key items on the agenda of the meeting was the development of qualified human resources in the sector.
At Yuchisoft, through our Yuchisoft Academy structure and our university–industry collaborations, we continue to support the development of students in fields such as digital printing technologies, production automation and artificial intelligence supported process management.
We believe that the work carried out with BASEV will create a strong ecosystem of knowledge, experience and career opportunities for the future of the sector.
